Wednesday, October 7, 2026MABL Staff

Kansas City's DeShawn Carter is averaging 22.4 points per game through 22 games, putting him on track to break the MABL single-season scoring record set in 2021.

DeShawn Carter is doing something special. Through 22 games, the Kansas City Raptors point guard is averaging 22.4 points, 8.7 assists, and 4.1 rebounds per game — numbers that have the league buzzing about a historic season. At his current pace, Carter would surpass the MABL single-season scoring record of 24.1 PPG set by former Blaze guard Terrance Webb in 2021. 'I'm just trying to win games,' Carter said after practice Thursday. 'The numbers take care of themselves when you play the right way.' The Raptors are 18–4 and Carter shows no signs of slowing down.
